Whats your X?!


GDG Belgaum and GSC-GIT present "Whats your X?An intro to Solve for X by Google Developers Group Belgaum's Manager Mr. Sandeep Hegde on 11th August from 2 PM- 3:30 PM in Silver Jubilee Auditorium.
Solve for X is a think tank project launched by Google to incite collaboration to solve global issues, "X" representing a remedy, known as a Moonshot, which is considered fictitious and impossible to achieve. Each moonshot project addresses a big, global problem, with a radical new solution/perspective/approach and leverages a breakthrough in science or technology.
GDG Belgaum is looking for 3 groundbreaking moonshot ideas for their upcoming Solve for X event.
Attend the session to know about other moonshot ideas around the world and learn how to propose your own idea.

Google Code Jam

Pump up the Code Jam, registration is open! 

Google's Code Jam competition brings the world's coding community together to solve algorithmic puzzles. Tens of thousands of contestants participate annually to make it through three online rounds of puzzles. Make your way to the top 1000 to earn yourself a limited edition Code Jam 2014 t-shirts. The top 25 finalists in 2014 will be invited to compete in the onsite finals at Google Los Angeles to vie for the grand prize of $15,000USD, title of Code Jam Champion and an automatic qualification for the finals in 2015.
